Everyone welcome

Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone, on any device, with or without assistive technology.

Last updated October 20, 2026

We build The Academic Ninja to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA wherever we can, and we test against it as part of our work. Accessibility isn’t a feature here; it’s a requirement of publishing well.

What we build in

  • Semantic structure and a single clear heading order on every page, so screen readers and keyboards can navigate it.
  • Visible focus outlines, skip-to-content links, and full keyboard operation for menus, the search dialog, and every interactive tool.
  • Color contrast that meets AA for text, and meaning never carried by color alone.
  • Touch targets large enough to tap, layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling, and type that scales when you zoom.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative graphics marked so they’re skipped.
  • Restrained motion that respects your “reduce motion” setting.

Tools and tables

Our calculators and planners are operable by keyboard and announce their results. Wide comparison tables scroll within a focusable region and stack into readable cards on small screens, so you never lose data off the edge.

Where we fall short

This is an evolving site, and some pages may not yet meet every criterion. We treat accessibility defects as real bugs and fix them on a priority basis.

Report a problem

If something here is hard to use with assistive technology, or you need a guide in a different format, please tell us and describe the page and the barrier. We’ll work with you to get you the information and to fix the underlying issue.
